ABOUT FURLONGS TRAVEL

Furlongs Travel started life in Sevenoaks, Kent, in 1982. Originally specialising in travel agency services, and excursions to theatre, concert and sporting events, Furlongs now exclusively offers its own escorted holiday tours. Since 1992 we've been based in purpose built offices near Tenterden in the Weald of Kent. The business is run by Richard and Dawn Furlong, who also personally escort each departure.

Tours are offered to UK, European and Worldwide destinations and the programme differs from year to year. Each holiday is researched in great detail. We personally visit our destinations to inspect accommodation and select suppliers. Once we've deigned our tours, we contract each supplier direct. This provides us with a much greater control than working via a local agent, so we can offer a high level of care and attention, which allows our guests to enjoy a holiday free of any day-to-day niggles. We've operated over 130 tours to date.

Our clients are our best advertisement. A very high proportion of guests have travelled with us on more than one occasion; many have joined us more than 10, 20 or even 30 times. Take a look at just some of the unsolicted testimonials we receive.
