What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is technology you can use to have information sent to you, rather than having to go look for it. Many web sites, including Furlongs, offer RSS as a way to have news delivered to you.
Our service is based around our website blog and provides you with Furlongs tour news and useful travel tips. We'll also be including regular reports direct from our tours, so you (and your family and friends) can keep up-to-date with what's happening!
Most Internet browsers and email software now support RSS and it's easy to set up. Typically, if a web site offers RSS information, the RSS logo appears or illuminates in your web browser. If you click on the logo, you will be presented with the name or description of the news feed, for instance 'Furlongs Travel Blog'. You may then subscribe if you wish. The chosen RSS is subsequently accessible via 'feeds' or 'favourites'. You may also set up a RSS folder in your email software. Look for the RSS logo for more details.
RSS is opt-in, you're in control, and you may delete an RSS feed at any time. In any case Furlongs Travel won't be sending multiple news stories on a daily basis. We're here to send occasional and interesting updates, not annoy you every 5 minutes. We hope you subscribe and enjoy our news stories!
