It’s our first short break at Stratford-upon-Avon but the following feedback from guests who attended similar weekends may be of interest.

Namibia was a wondeful experience. The scenery, especially the enormous sand dunes was fascinating and to be so close to the wild animals was amazing. Uanee was an excellent guide - his knowledge of the animals, birds and plants is amazing and we were very interested with all he had to say about Namibia since independence. Being back in London I cling on to the memory of sitting on our patio outside our villa at Vingerklip and looking out towards the rocky outcrops in complete silence and being nice and warm! Your meticulous planning and attention to detail insured a very smooth trip and we loved all the surprises on the way! Many thanks for a super holiday.

Thank you both for a marvellous Namibian experience. Your care and attention to detail, from the very first minute to the last was again second to none and made for a very successful tour. We now have many more memories, which will live with us for ever.

Just wanted to say a very big thank you for the most amazing holiday in Namibia. We keep reliving all the different parts of the trip by telling everyone who will listen! We loved every minute. We saw so much of this beautiful country and everywhere was so different and unique. The lodges were incredible, so very comfortable. Our guide Uanee and driver Bruce were brilliant and thoroughly lovely people. We saw so many animals, we lost count and to see the cheetahs and leopard was such a fabulous experience. We are so very pleased that when we looked into going to the Galapagos Islands in 2009 we found Furlongs because we’ve enjoyed several really beautiful holidays with you since then and look forward to enjoying many more.

Our sincere thanks for a wonderful adventure, with your faultless research, very personal tour management and excellent guide and driver in Uanee and Bruce. The lodges were each unique, with amazing views, and the wildlife plentiful (still haven’t got over the wild cheetah tracking within 6 feet of us). Just have to sort through 2000 images now.

When we returned from the Galapagos Islands we said it was the best holiday ever. We didn’t think it could be beaten and we’re not sure it has. However, Namibia has certaily equalled it! Fabulous. Many, many thanks and we look forward to future Furlongs experiences.

Being the first time we’ve travelled with you we weren’t sure what to expect, but the couple who recommended you to us weren’t wrong. Thank you for a lovely holiday. We were overwhelmed by your attention to detail and generosity, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My love of elephants was fulfilled as we saw more than we’ve ever seen on other safaris, and we cannot praise your driver Bruce and guide Uanee highly enough. We will, of course, be passing the recommendation we received on!

Just a note to say a huge thank you for our trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. Both were spectacular, and your meticulous planning and attention to detail enabled us to enjoy them to the full. All the little personal touches made it a truly unique holiday. This was our first Furlongs holiday, but certainly won’t be our last! Thank you both so much!
