Superlatives are often over used but GALAPAGOS will always be a superlative for us. We feel very privileged to have taken this trip with you and now feel part of the Furlong family. The wildlife, landscapes, the food, teamwork, and companionships formed can be summed up in the lines of songs ... “memories are made of this”, and “thanks for the memories”.

We knew that on a Furlongs holiday we should expect the unexpected and this trip was no exception! While attention to detail was just as expected, who would have thought we would go snorkelling for the first time at our age! Everyday was a new wow factor never to be forgotten.

“Thanks” seem inadequate but ... thanks for all the hard work that went into the planning and preparation, for all the attention to detail, and for anticipating our every need. We have wanted to go to the Galapagos Islands for some time. The reality was far better than we anticipated. To see the animals, birds and fish in their natural environments is beyond description and is something we will remember for a very long time.

Many thanks for organising such a wonderful holiday to the Galapagos Islands. Your attention to detail and your many kindnesses to us was first class. We have never been so well looked after.

Wow, what can we say to the most wonderful experience in the Galapagos Islands, each day was so diverse, up close and personal. Your attention to detail was second to none, always on hand to assist us. Plus the expedition leader, guides and crew of the Islander who looked after us so well.

Thank you for all the splendid arrangements you made for our holiday to Ecuador and the Galápagos. You really do look at everything in detail to make sure that your guests have the best possible holiday. We did not really know what to expect from Ecuador and it was both interesting and different from anything we had done before. Everyone has seen TV programmes on the Galápagos but it does not come anywhere near the real thing. How do you explain getting up so close to sea lions and turtles in the sea and giant tortoise and albatross chicks inches from you on the land. Superb and all enhanced by excellent guides.

It was a wonderful holiday, full of interest and delight both in Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands.
